With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Jean Saunders of Robbins, North Carolina, who passed away on November 19, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jim" Brown and Blanche Brown; her husband Clyde Thomas Saunders; her sons, James "Tommy" Saunders, Timothy "Bruce" Saunders and Randy Wayne Saunders; her daughter-in-law Debbie B. Saunders; and her grandson Marshall E. Northcutt.
She is survived by: her children, Clyde Steven Saunders of Highfalls, Billy Joe Saunders, Sr. of Robbins, Sandra Jean Hall of Highfalls and Becky Lynn Medlin (Monty) of Robbins; her daughters-in-law, Jill Saunders of Highfalls and Joan Saunders of Highfalls; and her siblings, Winfred Brown of Robbins, Kay Elliott of Robbins, Elizabeth Poole of Sparta, NC, Rose Cassady of Brown Summit and Virginia McIntyre of Troy. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
