She was predeceased by: her parents, Vun Erman Poe and Frances Irene Barnes Poe; her husband James Lacy Ritter, Sr.; and her sister Patricia. She is survived by: her children, Sonia Jean Ritter and James Lacy Ritter, Jr. (Linda); and her brother Vun Erman Poe, Jr. (Shirley) of Asheboro.
