She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Morphis; her sister Artanse Hussey (Cranford); and her son Robert Morphis. She is survived by: her brother Bobby Britt (Edwina); and her children, Barry Morphis (Barbara), Eddie Morphis (Peggy) and Donna Johnson (Glenn). She is also survived by six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
