He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Allen Monroe and Nora Monroe; his wife Nita Monroe; his children, Donna Gragg (Steve) and Mark Monroe (Rosanne); his grandchildren, Melanie Greene (Shawn), Cliff Gragg (Kristin), Matthew Monroe (Lindsey), Macon Monroe (Sherry) and Kayla Monroe; his great grandchildren, Vandie, Andon, Autumn, Owen, Harper and Cora; and his sister Betty Meeks. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
