She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse L. Ester and Effie Porter Ester; and her sons, John Carroll Alexander and Barry Douglas Alexander. She is survived by: her husband Mayford Alexander; her children, Vanessa Weisner (Reggie) of Statesville and Rick Alexander (Louise) of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Penny Alexander-Crump (Brian), Brian Alexander (Carla), Matt Weisner (Jennifer) and Adam Weisner (Sara); her great grandchildren, Bryson Alexander Crump, Brantley Alexander, Hannah Alexander, Mackenna Weisner, Hudson Weisner, Ava Lynn Weisner, Elle Ana Weisner, Izzy Weisner and Piper Weisner; and her daughter-in-law Karen Alexander.
