With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ted Carter of Roaring River, North Carolina, who passed away on February 27, 2022 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ted Carter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Franklin Carter and Wanza Cockerham Carter; his brother Barry; and his sister-in-law Betty Carter. He is survived by: his wife Shirley B. Carter; his sons, Tony Carter (Nita) of Roaring River and Terry Carter (Brenda) of Ronda; his siblings, Larry Dean Carter (Molly) of Elkin, George F. Carter, Jr. (Linda) of St. Louis and Jean Dyar of Elkin; and his grandchildren, Alex Carter, Roaring River, Christy Mathis of Kernersville, Kendra Longworth of Maryville, TN, Tonya Forrest of Morehead City, NC and Elizabeth Carter of Ronda. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
