He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Roberts Mathis; his children, Paige Mathis and Mason Mathis; his parents, Gurney Mathis of Roaring River and Peggy Mathis of Roaring River; and his siblings, Samantha Mathis Slade (Steve) of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Kirk Mathis (Judy) of Roaring River and Talmadge Mathis (Diana) of Roaring River. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
