He is survived by: his wife Lou Eva Howard Johnson; his sons, Daniel Johnson (Jennifer) of North Wilkesboro and Patrick Johnson (Melissa) of Mocksville; his grandsons, Noah Johnson, Gabe Dietrick and Eamon Dietrick; and his sister Gail McCann of Roaring River.
