It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Lee Dancy of Roaring River, North Carolina, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Connie Odell Wagoner and Zellie Royal; and her husband Rev. Johnny Ezra Dancy. She is survived by: her children, Marie Dancy of Roaring River, Wanda Summerlin (Billy Ray) of Wilkesboro, Mary Anderson (Rickey) of Millers Creek, David Dancy (Hilda) of Ronda, Paul Dancy (Patsy) and Steven Dancy (Linda) of North Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Jordan Dancy, Angel Dancy, Steven Dancy Jr., Timothy Dancy, Brian Dancy, Christina Anderson, Danielle Parlier, Jennifer Powell, Debra Anderson, Ricky Ray Anderson and Alisha Anderson; her great grandchildren, Kylee Miller, Zachary Anderson, Elijah Williams, Ember Powell, Eliza Powell, Abbygail Royal, Leeanna Thomas and RJ Thomas; and her siblings, Rosie Chambers of Hays, Nellie Boggs (Wiley) of North Wilkesboro, Fannie Royal of North Wilkesboro, Dellamae Royal (Freeman) of North Wilkesboro, Annie Ruth Boggs (Carl) of North Wilkesboro and Robert Wagoner (Mary) of Millers Creek.
