He was predeceased by: his parents, Erastus Jones and Dossie Clemetine Wiles Durham; and his siblings, Evelyn Durham Welborn, Nella Mae Durham Blackburn, Violet Durham Jolley and William Cody Durham.
He is survived by: his children, Sarah Durham Call (Sam) of Wilkesboro, Hayley Davis (Bryan) of Hickory, Tammy Wilcox (Rodney) of Wilkesboro, Brock Durham (Tina) of Roaring River and Donna Holcomb (Jon) of Clingman; and his siblings, E. J. Durham, Jr. (Patricia) of North Wilkesboro, Perdetha Durham Transou of Gaffney, SC, Darlene Durham Grit of Roaring River, Linda Durham Hawkins of North Wilkesboro, Mary Ann Durham, Patsy Ingram and Betty Jo Lovell. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Service (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Chapel (180 Sparta Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
