It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Joyce Johnson of Roaring River, North Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Clarence Barnett and Sarah Rosetta Blevins Barnett (Glen E. Johnson). She is survived by: her children, Robin Eller (Bryan) of Wilkesboro and Duane Johnson; and her cousin Brenda Hanson of Wilkesboro. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
