He was predeceased by: his parents, James Martin and Cora Elizabeth Wood; his brothers, Wayne Castevens, Mallory Castevens, Larry Castevens and Hazur Paul Castevens; and his nephew Jason Castevens.
He is survived by: his wife Mae A. Castevens; his children, Bobby Dale Castevens (Vickie) of Linwood, Christopher Allen Castevens (Tammy) of Boonville, Jeffery Anthoney Castevens and Kathy Byrd (Alvin) of Roaring River; his siblings, Billy Castevens of Yadkinville and Dorothy Ann Willard (David) of Boonville; and his nephew Michael Paul Castevens (Tammy) of Hamptonville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
