He was predeceased by: his parents, Berry Frank Hudson and Willie Bett Hudson; his sister Winifred Foley; and his sister-in-law Margie Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hux Hudson; his brother Buddy Hudson; his niece Debbie Crawford of Murrells Inlet, SC; and his nephew Jeff Foley of Washington, DC. He is also survived by three great nephews, one great niece, and four great great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service (507 US-158, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cedarwood Cemetery (1100 W 4th St, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church in Roanoke Rapids, or American Legion Post 38 in Roanoke Rapids.
