It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Sue King (Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina), born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Willie Leon "Pop" Liles; her daughter Wendy King; her sister Linda Pittard; her brother-in-law Johnny Etheridge; and her daughter-in-law Sherry King.
She is survived by: her sons, Stewart Wayne King of Littleton and Rodney King of Littleton; her grandsons, Stewart Wayne King, Jr. and David King; and her siblings, H. L. Liles (Barbara) of Zebulon, Barbara Ann Green (Henry) of Roanoke Rapids, Rose Marie Inscoe (C. D.) of Littleton and Ava Faye Etheridge of Youngsville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
