She was predeceased by: her husband James O. Ivey; her siblings, Jack Edwards, Jimmy Edwards, Lloyd Edwards, Dorothy Edwards Franks and Charlotte Edwards Johnson; her son Lloyd A. "Sonny" Ivey; and her grandson Patrick O. Groves.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Lou Ivey Studley (Dennis) and Jim Ivey. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 24 Great-Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
