He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Adrienne C. Ivey; his father James O. Ivey; his son Patrick Groves; his mother Virginia Mae Ivey of Roanoke Rapids; his siblings, Jim Ivey of Emporia, VA and Betty Studley (Dennis) of Crystal Lake, IL; and his close friend Doris Lyles. He was also cherished by his loving children and grandchildren.
