She was predeceased by: her father James Leslie Burnette; and her siblings, Marie Tudor, Catherine Clements, Eugene Burnett, Carl Burnette and Cirven Burnette.
She is survived by: her sons, John Acree, Jr. (Beverly) of Jackson and Danny Lee Acree (Angie) of Roanoke Rapids; her grandchildren, Thomas Webb (Tiffany), Christina Bundy (Thomas), Catherine Vore (Nic) and Daniel Acree; her great grandchildren, Blake Bundy and Ethyn Bundy; her niece Debbie Burnette Dixon; her nephews, Dane Tudor and Jeffrey Clements; and her close friends, Mary Ann "Jonsie" Jones, Priscilla Vincent and Priscilla Woodruff. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
