Ruby Howard Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Howard (Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Odell Howard; and her siblings, Johnnie Westbrook, Jr. and Polly Westbrook Odom. She is survived by: her children, David James Howard (Shannon) and Susan Howard Kennedy (Jay); her grandchildren, Alexis Grace Howard, Chase Alexander Howard, Andrew Joseph Kennedy, Justin Everett Kennedy and Morgan Jean Kennedy; and her sister Shirley Westbrook Jones.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wrenn Funeral Home (1015 W 5th St, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Cedarwood Cemetery (1100 W 4th St, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rosemary United Methodist Church.
