With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Wilson Walls Sr. of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on December 31, 2023 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gilbert Walls and Elizabeth Carter Walls; his wife Hallie Maggie Long Walls; his siblings, Robert "Buddy" Walls, Barbara Blake and Racheal Strickland; and his son Johnnie Ray Walls.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Wilson Walls, Jr. (Jackie), Robert Eugene Walls (Kim), David Preston Walls, Donna Dianne Walls Lucas (Curtis) and Maggie Marie Walls; and his grandchildren, Curtis Glenn Lucas, Jr., Mandy Anderson, Shannon Walls, Crystal Byrum, Reva Walls, Ashley Lyons and Colby Walls. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
