He is survived by: his wife Anissa Jo Shotwell; his daughter Sara Shotwell Chandler (Jason) of Roanoke Rapids; his grandchildren, Colton Grey Shotwell and Cassidy Diana Strickland of Roanoke Rapids; his siblings, Walter Shotwell (Janice) of Roanoke Rapids and Sharon Robinson of Yuma, AZ; his stepchildren, Crystal L Benton of Manassas, VA and Steven M. R. Benton; and his stepgrandson Jayden R. Benton of Norfolk, VA.
