It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olivia Alston Knight of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Olivia Alston may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Olivia Alston touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Nancy Pierce Alston.
The lying in state will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Quankey Missionary Baptist Church (3265 NC-48, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
