He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver L. Bowser, Sr. and Ruth Alshouse Bowser; and his daughter Donna Jean Ricks. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie "Sally" Bowser; his daughters, Susan Parker (Donald) of Hampstead, Rebecca Overcash of Hampstead and Teresa Howell (Kevin) of Holly Ridge; and his stepchildren, John A. Brown, Jr. (Tracy) of Newsoms, Virginia and Joni B. Hale of Conway. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
