He is survived by: his wife Dinah Smith Taylor; his children, Norman Wayne Taylor, Jr. and Donavan Lee Tharrington (Karen); his siblings, Leon Alvin Taylor, Jr. (Wanda) and Debbie Lassiter (Dennis); and his grandsons, Wyatt Tharrington and Cody Dickens.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service (507 US-158, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
