Spence; her son Gene Allen Spence; and her siblings, Grace Bryant Peede, Dorothy Bryant Brutosky, Vashti Bryant Peede, Cular Bryant, Jennie Bryant Craddock, Hazel Bryant Bryant, Janice Bryant McMahan, Helen Bryant Bennett, Matthew Harvey Bryant, Jr., Marjorie Bryant, John Covington Bryant "Junior", Morris Hinton Bryant, Matthew Morris Bryant, Polly Bryant Hopkins and Stancil Roland Bryant.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Spence Powell (Ray) of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Steve "Bitty" R. Spence of Gaston, NC; her sister Camilla Dixon (James) of Halifax, NC; her grandchildren, Paula Copeland, Tony Powell (Joy), Kevin Powell (Stacy) and Gary Powell (Alison); her great grandchildren, Cameron Powell (Marissa), Christopher Powell, Mollie Powell, George Powell, Lilly Powell, Chase Copeland and Tyler Copeland; her great great grandchild Landen Copeland; and her close friends, Madie Higgins, Irene Morgan, Ann Rosser, Taneka Rainey and Kathy Scott.
