She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Gurnie and Hattie Mae Duke Braswell; her husband Kelly Warren Edwards; her son Larry Edwards; and her siblings, Abner, James, Gurney Braswell, Louise Slade, Majorie Ricks, Essie Mae Woodard and Jean Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Edwards, Betty Lassiter (Wayne) and Wanda Burke (Michael); her daughter-in-law Alice Edwards; her grandchildren, Jeff Edwards (Kim), Donika Muckler, Sandy Proctor (Michael), Josh Edwards (Wendy), Michael Lassiter (Connie), Kevin Harrington (Cindy) and Karla Harrington; her great grandchildren, Mark (Gia), Chelsey Edwards, Nathan, Allison, Alex Muckler, Brantley, Baylor Edwards, Justin, Braxton Lewter, Hunter Lassiter, Bryce Harrington, Tabitha Phillips (Chris), Alden and Hayden Cooke; and her great great grandchildren, Mark Edwards, Jr. and Corbin Phillips.
