She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Jones and Agnes Harrison Jones; and her siblings, Gertrude Jones, Nancy Jones Plummer, Mandaline Jones Gilliam, Louis Jones, Frank Jones, Norman Jones and Willie Jones.
She is survived by: her sisters, Ann Taylor (Maurice) of Prince Frederick, MD, Barbara Solomon, Agnes Moody of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Wilhemeina Jones (Oliver) of Rocky Mount, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (250 Webb Hill St, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Crestview Memorial Cemetery (489 Smith Church Rd, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
