It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Elwood Ward of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benjamin Lee Ward and Christine Hackney Ward; his brother Benjamin Lee Ward, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC; his wife Sadie Carol Etheridge Ward; his children, Christine Ward Gwynn (John) of Charlottesville, VA and William Holt Ward (Amy) of Battleboro, NC.; and his friends, Dr. Mario Fiorilli, Attorney and Bill White.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Battleboro Cemetery.
