She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wilbert Porch and Lina Cook Porch Spence; and her brothers, Henry Porch and Earl Porch. She is survived by: her husband J. C. Barnwell; her daughters, Rhonda Barnwell Allen (Steve) and Wanda Barnwell Catt (Randy); and her siblings, Shirley Porch Jarrell and R. D. Porch (Carolyn). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Crestview Memorial Cemetery (489 Smith Church Rd, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
