Stephenson and Monk (Mildred "Dootie" Stephenson); her aunt Patti King (John King); her children, Dan Tanner of Roanoke Rapids and Joann Pearson (Shane Pearson) of Roanoke Rapids; her sister Mary Wood; her children, Timmy Wood (Kelly) and Vickie Wood of Maine; her sister Linda Walker of Tarboro; her aunt Alice Stephenson of Roanoke Rapids; and her cousins, Joe, Gail West of Roanoke Rapids and Dondee McKnickol (Mark) of Virginia.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kari Tanner of Idaho, Chief Steve Tanner, S. Navy (Dannielle Tanner) of Newport News, Nicole Brantley of Roanoke Rapids, Atlas-Jordan Pearson (A. J.) of Roanoke Rapids, Peyton Pearson (Amilya Harris) of Roanoke Rapids, Shyann Pearson of Roanoke Rapids and Brandon Tanner of Roanoke Rapids; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Frost (Libby) of Fairfax, VA, Kayla Casper of Roanoke Rapids, Alexis Tanner of Washington State and Thadius James Tanner (T. J.).
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wrenn Funeral Home (1015 W 5th St, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
