She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Hayes, Sr. and Ethel Majette Hayes. She is survived by: her children, Alterric Hayes of Hope Mills, NC, Donald Hayes (Renique) of Greensboro, NC, Adrienne Hayes of Ahoskie, NC and Chinita Harrell (Donald) of Robersonville, NC; and her siblings, Jacob Hayes, Jr., Lucius Hayes (Pauline) of Ahoskie, NC and Cecila Powell (Dennis) of Menola, NC. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
