She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Manning and Ophelia Ellis Manning; her husbands, Nivie G. Medlin and Charles Miles; and her son Dennis Medlin.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Dixon (Donald), Cindy Wilson and David Medlin (Mark Walker); her grandchildren, Chris Gaster, Gaston E. Wilson and Kim Johnson (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Ashley Deaton (Wes), Taylor Alston (Caleb) and Nick Johnson. She is also survived by seven great great-grandchildren and a special friend.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cedarwood Cemetery (225 Kemp Ave, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
