He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank James Pulley and Eunice Rose Philenor Pulley; his sister Loretta Jean Pulley; and his brother-in-law Harold Shelburne. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Jane Black; his siblings, Louise Wilkins (Roy) of Roanoke Rapids, Leora Shelburne of Pleasant Hill, NC and Lofton (Cynthia "Tweet") of Pleasant Hill; his children, Leonard Pulley (Lesley) of Ashburn, VA, Elizabeth Hess (Greg) of Ashburn, Edward Pulley (Valerie) of Glen Allen, VA, Sarah Stafira (Mike) of Stafford, VA and Rebecca Vaughan (Robin) of Raleigh, NC.; and his great grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Edwards of Winchester, VA and Ezekiel Vaughan Hairston of Wake Forest.
It is requested that all attending the service wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
