He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Lee Brown and Harriett Cannon Brown; and his brothers, Rufus Brinkley Brown and Wesley Lee Brown. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Rook Brown; his children, Ryan Lee Brown (Tanya), Lee Brown Jr. and Melanie Brown Owen; his grandchildren, Adam Owen, Taia Brown, Allie Jarratt, Jillian Lee Brown, Lauren Brown and Josh Brown; and his great grandchild Alaiyah Owen.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wrenn Funeral Home (1015 W 5th St, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Hill Baptist Church (2103 Pine Log Rd, Skippers, VA 23879).
