She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Winfield Richardson; her parents, Raymond Parker Conwell and Clara Newsome Conwell; and her brothers, Ray Walker and Luther Conwell.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy C. Avery (John), Marcie Ann Carpenter, Dewey E. Carpenter Jr. (Sandy), Westley P. Carpenter (Maranda) and Chad E. Carpenter; her stepsons, David Richardson and Daniel Richardson; her godchildren, Logan Joyner and Olivia Drysdale; and her sisters, Pricilla Barnes and Irene Cook. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
