She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Bailey and Jerry Bailey; her son Donald Ray Murphy; her grandson Richard Andrew Leigh Mayton, IV; her siblings, Barbara Goins and Tony Bailey; and her close friend Robert Wade Johnston, Sr..

She is survived by: her children, Robert Wade Johnston, Jr. (Lacey), Steven Wayne Johnston (Crystal), Elizabeth Anne Murphy Mayton (Richard), Nellie Deann Meador (Chad), Tammy Rebecca Dial (Brent) and Robin Brown; her grandchildren, Eric Mayton, Elizabeth Anne Murphy, Dylan Wade Johnston, Jullian Thomas Johnston, Taylor Dickens, Damien Wright, Alex Wright, Chloe Meador, Gracen Meador, Eli Meador, Alea O'Neil, Victoria Johnston, Jonathan Johnston, Sadie Dial, Christian Dial and Isabella Dial; and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Kaytlyn, Jayden, Noah, Aleeah, Trenton, Lakeland, Lincoln, Aubrey, Carson and Khalani.
