It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Aster Radford of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, who passed away on September 26, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Radford, Sr. and Myrtle Lee Smith Radford; and his sister Dorothy Radford. He is survived by: his siblings, James, Raymond, Thomas and Gene; his wife Linda Hargrave Radford; his sons, Danny Radford (Carol Anne) of Roanoke Rapids and John Radford (Karie) of Roxboro; his grandchildren, Brianna, Bryson, Juliette, Kasey, Kassidy and Gregory; and his siblings, Jerry, Leroy (Carol), Charlie, Jr., Juanita Dickens, Annette Tanner and Alice Mooney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
