She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Diana Benbow-Mallory and Michael Stafford; her grandparents, Ulmer and Mary Sue Stafford; her uncle Mark Stafford; her cousin Michael Wayne Banks, Jr.; her son Mikal Smith of Charlotte, NC; her stepfather Donald Mallory of Garysburg, NC; her stepbrothers, Donald Mallory (Christine) of Savannah, GA and Marcus Williams of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her grandparents, Boston and Fannie Benbow of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her aunts and uncles, Steven Benbow (Donna) of Raleigh, NC, Jackie Banks (Michael) of Gaston, NC, Kimberly Benbow of Durham, NC and Carol Wilkins of Knightdale, NC; her godparents, William and Shirley Battle of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her close friend Jennifer Ponton of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and her cousin Tonja Ervin of Raleigh, NC. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
