He was predeceased by: his parents, James Long and Margaret Long; and his brother William "Willie" Long. He is survived by: his wife Martha "Bill" Vinson Long; his children, Renée Long Aman (Scott), Tommy Long (Lisa) and Ann Long Languell (Chris); and his grandchildren, Courtney Renée Aman, Kelli Long, Emily Ann Aman, Christopher James Languell and Cole Long Languell.
