He is survived by: his wife Alice Lancaster Darlington; his brothers, Edward Jr. (Charlotte) and Donnie (Lisa); his sisters-in-law, Shirley Powell and Robbin Lancaster; his niece Ellen Mullen; and his nephew Robert Lancaster of Atlanta Georgia.
