He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivey E. Gibson, Sr. and Dora Mae Gregory Gibson; his grandson Joey Wichard; and his sisters, Frances and Jeanette.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Gibson Wallace (Anthony), Dennis Gibson (Beth) and Lisa Gibson (Chad Hayhurst); his grandchildren, Amy Williams (Jeffrey), Bryant Green, Kristina Wallace, Morgan Bishop, Dylan Gibson, Leanne Wichard and William Mead; his great grandchildren, Natalie, Chase, Emily, Jaxson, Brody, Zoey and Ivan; and his pets, Sue Sue and Max.
