It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Richardson Pullen of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on April 10, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Richardson and Rena Lynch Richardson; her husband Frank Glover Pullen; and her siblings, Mirion Reid, Maybelle West, Ida Mae West, Teasie Boone, Lucinda Alston, Basie Richardson and Willie Junior Richardson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Eloise Batchelor and Salbert Richardson; her nephew Tracy Batchelor, Sr.; her niece Linda Batchelor-Odeindecambell; and her great-nieces, Melissa Newell, Jasmine Richardson and Simisola Odeindecambell. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.
