It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Jenkins Harrell of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernie Frazier Jenkins and Lillie Garner Jenkins Glasgow; her daughter Bonnie Harrell Allen; her granddaughter Christi Allen Hill; her sister Mildred Jenkins Glover; and her stepfather Wilson McCoy Glasgow.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie H. Smith (David) of Concord and James Allen Harrell, II (Sue) of Williamston; her son-in-law Danny Allen (June) of Washington; her grandchildren, Greg Allen, Karen Harrell, Randy Harrell, Dale Latkowski, Melissa Smith and Michael Smith; and her brother Billy Jenkins (Edith) of Roanoke Rapids.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Smith Methodist Church building fund, 1215 Smith Church Road, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.
