She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Augustus Dickens and Sue Vaughan Dickens; and her husband Clyde Everette Hasty. She is survived by: her sons, Keith Hasty (Kaye) of Gaston and Neal Hasty of Venice, California; her grandsons, Eddie Hasty (Meagan) of Red Oak and Paul Hasty (Becky) of Wake Forest; her great grandchildren, Evan, Hannah, Allie, Annie and Maggie; and her sister-in-law Millie Beal Dickens. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Askew Funeral and Cremation Services (731 Roanoke Ave, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services (731 Roanoke Ave, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church in Roanoke Rapids, or the Dementia society of America.
