He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Carson Blanton and Elsie Blanton Harrington of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his stepfather Willie Harrington; his siblings, Carson Blanton, Jr. (Sue Blanton) of Cary, NC and Lorena Turner Wilson (Louis Turner); his brother-in-law Curtis Wilson of Roanoke Rapids; and his sister Virginia Hagler of Upper Marlboro, MD..
He is survived by: his wife Luz Maria Blanton; his stepdaughter Jackeline Anaya; his father-in-law Josh Langley of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his stepson Victor Anaya (Jessie Anaya) of Newport News, VA; his sister Marsha Brown; his brother-in-law Douglas Brown of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his brothers, Pat Blanton of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Timmy Smith (Diana Smith) of Fort Mill, SC; and his brother-in-law Gene Hagler of Upper Marlboro, MD.. He is also survived by many loving nephews, nieces, cousins and in-laws.
