He is survived by: his wife Frances Edwards (Frankie); his children, Richard Edwards (Holly), Tracy Wilmouth (Jason) of Roanoke Rapids, Kathy Godsey (Eric) of Morehead City and Judy Warner of Culpepper, VA; his sister Doris Formal (Joe) of Chase City, VA; his grandchildren, Michael May (Beth, James) of Roanoke Rapids, Jason Wilmouth (Jay) of Roanoke Rapids, Joshua Wilmouth of Roanoke Rapids, Joshua Thompson of Roanoke Rapids, Timothy Edwards (TJ) of Roanoke Rapids, James Cox (Melanie), Nicholas Davis (Linda), Richard Krebs (Ricky), Nicole Mullins (George) of Warrenton, NC, Miranda Cox of Jacksonville and Lisa Elliot of Culpepper, VA; and his nieces, Brenda Evans and Debra Lynch of Roanoke Rapids. He is also survived by twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
