Mitchell of Greensboro, NC; his children, Gemeka, Tynecia of Greensboro, NC, Geno III (Courtni) of Fayetteville, NC and Treshon of Greensboro, NC; his sister Latisha Mitchell of Stafford, VA; his stepdaughter Shalonda Jones of Greensboro, NC; his grandson Tylen Springer of Greensboro, NC; his stepgrandchildren, Quenzir McCloud of Greensboro, NC and Jaida Powell of Fayetteville, NC; his aunts and uncles, Alice Rivers of Jamaica, NY, Annie Newell, Susie Johnson (Kelly) of Norfolk, VA, Debbie Scott (Robert) of Creedmoor, NC, Robert Burgess (Betty) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Melvin Burgess of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Melvin Mitchell of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Kirk Wilkins (Kathy) of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Selwyn Mitchell (Myrtle) of Baltimore, MD; his parents-in-law, Lenora Battle of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Ernest Battle, Sr. of Whitakers, NC; his siblings-in-law, Catina Battle of Burlington, NC and Ernest Battle, Jr. of Greensboro, NC; his niece Aletha Readdy of Gibsonville, NC; and his nephews, Dominic Battle of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Karelle Battle of Burlington, NC. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
Because of Covid-19, all CDC guidelines will be followed by the wearing of masks, social distancing, and limiting the number of persons in attendance.
