With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garvie Dolan Beasley (Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina), who passed away on February 19, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dora Dean Inscoe Beasley; his mother Reba Denning Morris; his stepfather Lee Morris; and his siblings, Dorothy Barnes and Jimmy Beasley.
He is survived by: his son Vander Beasley (Susan) of Spring Hope, NC; his sisters, Mary Lee Daniel of Littleton, NC and Betty Dickens of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and his close friend Barbara Jones of Gaston. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
