He is survived by: his wife Merle Louise Etheridge; his children, Tamera Etheridge and Richard Etheridge (Saida); and his nieces and nephews, Zan Day (Frieda), Ray, Roy, Joann Etheridge, Kelly Powell, Carol Abbitt and Cathy Ushery.
