She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Parker and Lila Mae Casper Parker; and her siblings, Monnie Parker of Ahoskie, McCoy Parker of Edenton, Myrtle Pierce of Ahoskie and Louise Harmon of Ahoskie.
She is survived by: her husband Rayford Harris Brabble of Roanoke Rapids; her children, Kenneth Brabble (Vernessa) of Blount's Creek, Sandra Brabble Matthews (late Willie Matthews) of Roanoke Rapids and Michael Brabble (Lana) of Nathalie, Virginia.; her grandsons, William H. Matthews (Brittany) of Clinton, NC and Ken Brabble (Megan) of Tarboro, NC; her great grandchildren, Graham, Everly, Loralai Matthews of Clinton, NC and Daniel; and her sisters, Dorothy Coats of Ahoskie and Lilly Hollowell of Tyner, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Askew Funeral and Cremation Services (731 Roanoke Ave, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse or the Baptist Men for NC Mountain Hurricane Relief.
