He is survived by: his wife Helen Harp Daniel; his children, Anita Daniel of Chesapeake, Virginia, Melissa Daniel Carter (Jamie) of Roanoke Rapids and Paul Daniel (Becky Lynn); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Bell (Stephen Love), Harley Lyons (Justin Mabrey), Alan Lyons (Shannon) of Roanoke Rapids, Daniel Lyons of Jackson, Bohdi Lane Daniel, Emily Daniel and Amanda Louise Daniel; his aunt Joyce Harp; and his uncle David Earl Harp (Crystal) of Roanoke Rapids. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
